Guided Kitesurf Tours · Algarve, Portugal
Small-group kitesurf tours for experienced riders along 200km of Algarve coastline. Every morning we find the best wind and waves — then document your session on photo and video for you to keep.
The Algarve has over 200 km of Atlantic coastline — and the right kitesurf spot changes every single day, depending on wind direction, swell height, tide, and time of year. Most kite schools in Portugal take you to the same lagoon every session. We don't.
We wake up early, check the forecasts, study the swell charts, and decide where to go. You show up and ride the best conditions available that day — somewhere along the Algarve's west and south coast, from Lagos to Sagres and beyond.
After the session, you leave with professional photo and video footage of your day on the water. Something you'll actually keep — not a blurry GoPro clip.
We chase good conditions instead of repeating the same location daily.
Every session documented with commercial-grade equipment and editing. The footage is yours.
This is a guided adventure for independent riders — not a beginner lesson.
Choose your package and a date window. We confirm once we see a good forecast window approaching.
We send you the meeting point the evening before — wind check, conditions overview, and what to expect.
We pick up the group and drive to the spot together. That journey is part of the experience — the Kitesurfari starts in the car.
Edited photos and video delivered digitally within 48 hours. Ready to share, keep, or relive.
Three ways to experience guided kitesurfing in the Algarve — from a single day session to a full week at a luxury villa. Every package includes spot selection, transport, in-water support, and media coverage. Bring your own kite gear, or ask us about rentals in Lagos.

One of us is always on shore — or in the water — with a camera. Every session is captured with the same eye and equipment used for professional sports photography and commercial shoots. You'll get edited material, not raw dumps.
Full-frame cameras, telephoto glass. Timed to catch peak moments — jumps, turns, spray, speed. Not just general water shots.
Colour-graded and edited to music. Not a GoPro montage — a short film of your session that actually tells a story of the day.
Private download link within 48 hours. High-resolution files ready for print, social, or just keeping forever. You own them.
PortuKite is Nacho and Flo. Between us we cover everything a great day on the water needs — the kite knowledge, the camera, and the energy to make it genuinely memorable.
Nacho handles the water. He's been in this sport since before it had a name — running schools in Tarifa and Nicaragua when kitesurfing was still a fringe obsession. He reads wind, spots, and conditions the way most people read a menu. Your safety and your session are completely in his hands.
Flo handles everything you take home. With a background in sports photography and videography, he knows how to be in the right place at the right moment — on shore, in the water, wherever the shot is. He doesn't kitesurf, which means his eyes are always on you.
What we both bring is the part that doesn't show up in a package description. We're good with people. We know how to read a group, keep the energy right, make a stranger feel like they've known us for years. The drive to the spot, the lunch break, the debrief over a cold drink — that's part of the experience too, and we take it seriously.
One of the first people to make a living from this sport. Ran kiteschools in Tarifa and Nicaragua before kitesurfing went mainstream. On the water, he's completely in his element — and so will you be.
Sports photographer and videographer based in the Algarve. Doesn't kitesurf — which means his eyes are always on you, not his own kite. He co-drives, co-navigates, and makes sure the day runs smoothly from start to finish.
We keep groups small on purpose — maximum 4 riders — so the experience stays personal. Based near Lagos. Sessions in English, German, Spanish, and Portuguese.
You need to be an independent rider — comfortable riding upwind, body dragging, and water-launching your kite. You don't need to be an expert, but this isn't a beginner lesson.
Not included in the packages, but we can connect you with trusted rental partners in Lagos. Let us know your size and riding style when you book.
We don't run sessions in bad conditions. If forecast conditions fall short, we reschedule within your trip window at no extra cost. We'd rather wait for the right day.
We recommend at least a week ahead, especially in July and August. During peak season spots fill quickly. Flexible dates give us the best chance of finding a great window.
Yes — we can try to match solo riders into a group, or book a private session (different pricing applies). Contact us and we'll work something out.
Edited photos (JPEG, high resolution), a colour-graded video edit, and all files delivered by private link within 48 hours. You own the footage — use it however you like.
